Obituary of William Ecker
William G. Ecker, age 55 of Albion, died suddenly 3/9/2017 in Medina Memorial Hospital.
He was born 5/27/1961 in Rochester to Gerald and Shirley(Efing)Ecker and had lived in this area all of his life.
As a good Christian Man, Bill was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Kendall and attended the Albion First United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Kendall Central Schools and worked as a Business Manager for VP Supply in Rochester. Bill loved to garden, fish and work in the yard. He received the greatest enjoyment in life while watching his boys play sports and will be remembered as a good and generous provider…always making his family a priority. Bill was also a rabid Dallas Cowboys Fan.
Mr. Ecker was predeceased by his father Gerald. He is survived by his wife of 15 years: Kay, his sons: Ramón Andino of MA, Cameron and Dallas Ecker at home, his sisters: Bonnie McGrane of East Irondequoit, Kathy(James)Fries of NC, his mother: Shirley Ecker of Albion, 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
There will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend Bill’s Memorial Service in the sanctuary of Christ Episcopal/Albion 1st United Methodist Church, 26 S. Main St.-Albion, TUESDAY at 11am. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O.
